Why choose Early Explorers?

 

We are situated in a convenient place on Hyde Road just opposite the bus depot. We have our own car park so if you drive it makes it easier to park.

 

 We  have a 5 in our food hygiene rating, we have an onsite cook who cooks everything fresh on the day. We have a 4 week menu which gets reviewed so we can make changes and we also get parents involved with any ideas that they might have to try with our children!

We also get our children involved in sport on a Tuesday we have City in the Community come in, they come in to do sport with our Pre School children, they create different stories around the activity that they are doing so that the children are involved. They talk about healthy eating and also talk about heartbeats so that the children become more aware.

 

On a Wednesday we have Little superstars who work with both our Toddler Room and Pre School Room, they do 3 different activities each week. The children learn about hand eye co-ordination, balancing and they talk about their heartbeats too.

 

Each of our rooms within the nursery have their own garden for the children to play in, we have quite a big space for the children to play in, the children love playing outside, they have bikes, climbing frames, slides and swings. Each of the rooms have their own little planting area where the children can learn about living things within the environment and learn what we have to do to make them grow. They have the different areas outside that are the same as inside, the children love the big outdoor spaces that we have here at Early Explorers!

 

We have termly parents evenings where your child’s key worker will write a report on your child and then present it to you at parents evening, this is where you will have a chance to discuss your child’s development and where you can work with their keyworker to talk about next steps to help your child’s development.

Here at Early Explorers we work on an online system where we write observations on there and we can attach the pictures of what your child does throughout the day. You can request to see your child’s learning journey at any point just ask your child’s key worker!
